Not every finding requires treatment. A medical consultation allows your scan results to be interpreted within the context of your symptoms, medical history and individual circumstances.

Dr Anna Davies is an experienced private GP with a specialist interest in women’s health.
Her professional qualifications include:

- DFSRH – Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare

Dr Davies is a member of the British Menopause Society and is qualified to fit and remove contraceptive coils and implants.

Andrea is an experienced sonographer and diagnostic radiographer who has performed and overseen more than 80,000 ultrasound examinations.
Having held senior roles across NHS and independent healthcare, she founded MedHealth Ultrasound to provide expert, thorough and genuinely personal care.
Andrea remains closely involved in the service, ensuring every patient receives a high-quality examination, a clear report and appropriate guidance about their next steps.

Your ultrasound is at our Portsmouth clinic or The Watermill Clinic in Wickham. Your GP consultation with Dr Anna Davies can be in person at Watermill, by video, or by phone.
Do both appointments happen on the same day?
They’re booked separately so you get proper time with each clinician — we’ll help you find times that work close together.
What if my scan shows something that needs follow-up?
Most findings are reassuring. Where something does need further investigation, Dr Anna Davies will talk you through the options and next steps as part of your consultation.
How do I get my results?
Andrea explains what she’s seeing during the scan itself, and you’ll receive a full written report, which Dr Anna Davies will also have ahead of your consultation.
